During Autism Awareness week we'll be selling our home made jigsaw necklaces to raise funds for the National Autistic Society.
During our training sessions we provide a sensory box, to be used as a resource for the lessons or as a way to help our learners concentrate.

The new Care Certificate 2015
The Common Induction Standards has now been replaced with The Care Certificate. If you are new into care within a company it is mandatory that this is completed. The course covers all mandatory training, plus additions of Dementia, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health and also Nutrition and hydration. We have a comprehensive package that includes activities and interactive training to take you through the qualification. Observations within the workplace lead you through competence based assessments within your work and supports with your practice. An exciting course to undertake and equips you with the skills and knowledge you need to be a confident, knowledgeable member of the team within Health and Social Care. Our New Champion Specialist Training Pathway
If you work within any Health and Social Care service you may be interested in accessing our Champion Specialist Pathway. You will be trained to Level 5 in your chosen specialism, undertake a research project with accreditation on completion, and embark on the new Teaching Certificate to enable and equip you to hold your own workshops in-house to ensure your service always stays fully compliant and the top of your field within your specialism!

The launch of our new 'Practical Training' room
We have created a practical training room that offers an innovative and creative environment.
A room dedicated to practicing skills ideal to use when teaching Health and Safety courses, Risk Assessment, and for practical elements of training in Medication Administration and for all Moving and Positioning practical training.
The room is created to look like a bedroom, an environment we work in when supporting people living with complex needs.
The courses explore the hazards, the risks and problem solving of what to do in order to overcome barriers whilst maintaining dignity, choice and safety.
Practice using equipment that is specifically designed for
Medication training and Moving and Positioning.
Equipment we have:
Hoist, a range of slings, slide sheets, profiling bed, medication cabinet with a range of medication administration techniques, adaptations and aids for disability awareness and how we can empower people to continue to be as independent as possible for as long as possible.
